Measures to Combat Parking Violations Will Be Strengthened in Tashkent
Creating a comfortable, safe, and orderly city is one of the main tasks of the Tashkent City Administration and the Traffic Management Center. Work in this direction is already being carried out in several areas: clearing spaces designated for pedestrians, organizing bus stops, improving traffic safety, developing public transport, and enhancing the quality of the urban environment.
The next stage of these efforts will involve the introduction of stricter measures against violations of parking and stopping rules.
In various districts of the capital, cases of vehicles being left on pedestrian sidewalks, near crossings, at bus stops, in green zones, and in areas with “No Parking” or “No Stopping” signs are regularly recorded. Such violations obstruct the safe and free movement of people, as well as the operation of public transport, emergency vehicles, and other road users.
These situations particularly create difficulties for the elderly, parents with strollers, people with disabilities, and children.
In this regard, the city is transitioning to stricter enforcement against such violations. Vehicles parked in violation of stopping and parking rules will be evacuated in accordance with established procedures and placed in special impound lots.
The purpose of these measures is to establish order on the streets, ensure traffic safety, and restore the basic principle of the urban environment: public spaces must be open, safe, and comfortable for all residents.
We warn drivers: when choosing a place to stop or park, strictly follow traffic rules and do not leave your vehicles in prohibited areas, on pedestrian paths, or in places that interfere with public transport, emergency services, or create safety hazards.
Tashkent is a city for its residents. Order on the streets begins with respect for the common space.
