⚠️ The publication pressa.uz released information claiming that tomatoes treated with chemical dyes are being mass-sold in Tashkent markets.

We hereby inform you that this information has not been confirmed.

Employees of the Tashkent City Department of Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health conducted inspections at all food markets in the capital. According to the results of the inspection, no cases of vegetables treated with chemical dyes being sold were identified.

We express our gratitude to the public for their active civic stance and attention to food safety issues. At the same time, we ask editorial offices and information resource administrators to verify such information with the relevant authorities before publishing, as the dissemination of false information may lead to legal liability in accordance with the law.
